Praveen Hirsave is an experienced and result-driven executive with expertise in product and engineering. Throughout his career he has been an inventor, with more than two decades of building, scaling, and creating offerings in information technology—including multiple cloud compute, data and analytics, and AI platforms. He pioneered SaaS applications and multi-sided marketplaces in major companies such as IBM, Vrbo, and Expedia.

 

Praveen helped these companies to acquire other companies and to create world class platforms in cloud, data and AI as well as products used by millions of users across over 26 brands. Moving from enterprise scale companies, he helped scale startups in the Healthcare space like Babylon—from $1.5b revenue and a $4.5b IPO. He played a key role in developing AI capabilities for music and lyrics transcription, revenue and royalties at innovative startups such as MusixMatch, supporting millions of customers across streaming platforms like Apple, Spotify, and Amazon Music.

 

Praveen joins YA6 inspired to leverage his decades of experience to help family offices in their goals via an exclusive AI-native investment platform. He also hopes to see a million flowers bloom in transforming and creating innovative companies to be incubated via his insights and ideas.
